There’s a variety of reasons I make sample illustrations: first, I like to create something unlike what I’m usually asked by clients to produce; It gives me a chanced to explore capabilities of the software I work in like here creating a country scene complete with cornfield, wild flowers, a gravel path, and generating a depth of field map; it helps keep me fresh and enthusiastic about my work; and it gives clients insights into possibilities they may not have realized I can provide. Besides, I have fun doing it!
